Marin is upset that Jack hasn't been in touch, but she doesn't know his ship has gone down in the Bering Sea. She is also being romantically pursued by Stuart (Jason O'Mara)---and Patrick, who still has amnesia. Meanwhile, Sam and Jane come up with an unusual living arrangement while attending a snowplow convention; Sara and Eric move their relationship along; and Jack must make a very tough decision to save his life and that of his shipmate Julia (Kelli Williams).
