Since Men in Trees hasn't been on for a while, I thought I'd start off with the synopsis of the last episode - Sweatering it Out, Dec. 7, 2007:

Marin is upset that Jack hasn't been in touch, but she doesn't know his ship has gone down in the Bering Sea. She is also being romantically pursued by Stuart (Jason O'Mara)---and Patrick, who still has amnesia.

Meanwhile, Sam and Jane come up with an unusual living arrangement while attending a snowplow convention; Sara and Eric move their relationship along; and Jack must make a very tough decision to save his life and that of his shipmate Julia (Kelli Williams).

For those of you new to Men in Trees, this is a synopsis of what's it all about:

Anne Heche stars as a `relationship coach' (Marin Frist) and best-selling author who starts life afresh in Alaska after learning that her fiancé has been cheating on her.  It's in this remote town called Elmo, where the ratio of men to women is ten to one, she realizes she can truly learn about the subject she thought she knew so well - how to find, and keep, a good man.

Executive producers include former `Sex and the City' writer Jenny Bicks and `Walk the Line' director James Mangold.

It premiered September 12, 2006, on ABC.
